CORONAVIRUS  (COVID-19) / WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?

JUST LIKE THE COMMON COLD, THERE IS NOT A CORONA MEDICATION.  IT IS A VIRUS SO ANTIBIOTICS WILL NOT HELP AND STEROID SHOTS CAN ACTUALLY LENGTHEN THE DURATION OF THE VIRUS

 1)  If you have a low grade fever, please stay home and treat as you would a cold or the flu.

  • Tylenol
  • Drink plenty of fluids
  • Get lots of rest
  • STAY HOME

2)  If you have upper respiratory symptoms as well. (Cough, nasal congestion, runny nose, etc.)

  • Over the counter decongestants / antihistamines (cold and flu medications) might help
  • Again drink lots of fluids
  • Get plenty of rest

 3)  If your symptoms last more than 7 days or worsen please call your doctor  and schedule an appointment.

Please do not panic.  Panic can, as we have already seen; make the situation much worse than it would normally be.  This will, as in past situations, eventually pass and things will get back to normal.  Please don't pass rumors or re-post things that people send you.
