About Regional Family Medicine
There's No Place Like Home
At Regional Family Medicine, we realize that engaging with the healthcare system and finding help with your medical problems can evoke some strong emotions that are often the opposite of what you feel at your home, but we are striving to change that.
We want to be your medical home so that we can serve as a guide through this complicated landscape. Ultimately, our goal is to care for you in the same way that we would want our family members cared for. How do we accomplish this?
Access to Care
We know that being able to get the care you need when you need it is one of the biggest challenges in healthcare. Once established with our clinic, it will always be our goal to ensure that patients needing an in-person visit with our providers will be offered that opportunity on the same day or next business day.
We offer Saturday Clinic on most weekends to help accomplish this goal. After hours, we have 24/7/365 call coverage by our physicians so that you can always get help when you need it.
While there are many options available to get urgent or unexpected help, we always strive to be the first call and first stop for your care!

Prevention
It is our goal to promote health and wellness rather than only deal with acute illnesses and avoidable conditions. That is why the cornerstone of our relationship with patients is an annual wellness visit. This provides us the opportunity to review health and wellness guidelines and how they apply to you as an individual. We provide an individualized plan to ensure that appropriate screening, testing and immunizations are considered and pursued. We believe that this is the path to ensuring healthy futures for all of our patients.
Comprehensive Care
Our clinic is staffed by board certified family physicians who each had more than 10,000 hours of training prior to entering the practice of medicine, and also have a combined 100+ years of experience since completing their respective residencies. This includes an extensive knowledge of inpatient and outpatient care, past experience with the practice of obstetrics, as well as continuing practice in newborn care, pediatrics, women’s health issues and general internal medicine.
Our clinical staff also includes nurse practitioners board-certified in family medicine who are able to deliver comprehensive care when your doctor may be unavailable or if you require specialized care. We are additionally supported by a staff of over 50 nurses, lab and radiology technicians, as well as office staff who have come together with the common goal of supporting you on your health journey.

Care Coordination
While our providers are able to efficiently assess, diagnose and treat 95% of the health issues that present within our clinic, we know that the healthcare landscape includes lots of different facilities and providers. We want to be your home base for most of your care, but we also know that a big part of our responsibility is to make sure that we have insight into what is going on with ALL of your care.
When more specialized care is needed, we are able to coordinate a direct and effective hand-off to any of the regional specialists. We maintain relationships with a complete network of specialists and have the ability to find the right physician to tackle any particular problem.
We utilize technology and network connections to help us keep track of care that takes place outside our doors. Examples include direct connections to Baxter Health System and the Arkansas Health Information Exchange (SHARE). Additionally, we have both formal and informal care coordination agreements with local specialists that emphasize the need for us to be involved in information sharing with other providers that may be involved in your care. These connections give us valuable insight into the big picture of your healthcare experience.
Care Management
Sometimes, patients with complex conditions need additional assistance with their care. We offer care management services in such situations to help navigate the often-complicated experience of managing chronic disease or recovering from a hospital stay.
We follow up with all our patients after they have a emergency room visit or hospital admission in order to ensure that their condition has been adequately addressed and unscheduled returns to the hospital are avoided.
For patients who qualify, we also offer ongoing Chronic Care Management, which can assist patients in better understanding how to self-manage their chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease and high blood pressure.
In the near future, we will be launching a program that provides home monitoring devices that will enable remote patient monitoring, so that your care team can have access to blood pressure readings, blood sugar levels and other data obtained in your home that will help us all – you and the team – have better insight into managing your chronic condition.
For more information and details on this program and to see if you may qualify, please contact your care team.

Value-Based Care
Healthcare is expensive and for many it is unaffordable. Our country continues to face an ongoing crisis about how to manage the rising costs of care. We are actively engaged in several endeavors that have proven to bring needed change to the affordability of care delivery.
Our partnership with Aledade, an accountable care organization (ACO) and public benefit company, as well as various insurers such as Medicare, Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Arkansas Medicaid have enabled to us to deliver high quality care while also generating savings for the system.
In this effort, Regional Family Medicine has helped save millions of dollars while providing high quality care since we launched our first value-based care contract in 2013. You can be assured that you will receive the most value and the highest quality because of the partnerships that we continue to build to deliver the very best care to our patients.
Why does all of this matter? It’s about taking better care of you and those who are important to you!
